This customer relocated from a high-visibility downtown office to a home office in the country and they wanted the ability to grab the attention of people as they drove by their new location. We focused on making the business logo prominent that would grab people’s attention so they would want to know more and get the phone number to call for an appointment. The large carved 3D logo does exactly that.
As the sign was being put up, people were stopping and looking and commenting on how it really did attract their attention where they wanted to call and get more information. That is the true purpose of a business sign – get potential customers to want to call you and know more about your products and services.
This particular sign is made from western red cedar and uses special outdoor paints and sealers to make sure it will last a long, long time.
If you, or someone you know, is in need of an attention grabbing sign for your business, give us a call and we can work together to achieve your goals.

A short video on the making of this attention grabbing sign

Employing custom business signs is the best way to get noticed, and stand out from the pack. The problem with most local businesses, is that they usually use generic signs. That doesn’t draw attention to your unique brand, and also won’t create the same recognition. Custom business signs are a cheaper way to advertise, but you still have to be willing to invest some money if you want to see a noticeable return. They are great ways to advertise, but only if you put in the appropriate amount of personal effort.
That’s really thiknnig out of the box. Thanks!
I work for an environmental safety equipment distributor. We currently purchase the signs to resell, but are looking into making our own. I have found websites with information on vinyl cutters, but is that just the machine that cuts the sign? I’ve also found information on printing the sign and then adhering it to vinyl. I’m not sure which is best and I can’t find anything at all about making metal signs. Thanks for any help I can get!
Metal signs are pretty much made using either sign paints or vinyl. The machine I use could cut vinyl if I put the correct cutting knife into it. I can cut and carve just about anything provided I have the correct bit and cooling system for the material being cut/carved.
