This is a Stickley reproduction Arts & Crafts double door bookcase.  Many modifications were done to make it exactly what the customer wanted and make sure it would fit in his office. The size was changed; tempered glass was installed instead of regular glass; and specially crafted stained glass was used in the tops of the doors instead of the same glass that is in the bottom of the doors. Traditional mission furniture craftsmanship and styling are used throughout this piece.  Locking doors add a level of security to valuable books and display items kept in the bookcase.
